Visit to New House

Finally paid a visit to brother's new house. Well, the owner handed over the key a couple of days ago and that means that my brother can finally start the renovation for this new house! We went to the new house to take a look and do up some wiring works. Its pretty nice I got to say.

I am not a great fan of the layout of the house in some sense though. The dining area is somewhat right smack in nowhere and its like blocking the path. The kitchen is pretty nice. I like the the tiled walls. They are really pretty! I am so glad they will be there to stay. The kitchen is very spacious too! I would love my kitchen to be so in the future, though I am harbouring ZERO hopes about that. HDB nowadays do not believe in a need for a large kitchen.

The rooms are those "old school" type, which means they are BIG! Love big rooms. Well, its something like a single double room in RH? Slightly wider than the single double rooms. Cool...

Well, learnt something about renovation. EVERYTHING COST MONEY!! To wire a lightbulb, its 35 bucks. If you need to wire 3 bulbs, do you maths. ouch. 100 bucks gone like that. Sigh. I probably need to start saving up lots of money now... Start NOW...

Thinking back about the damn decision I made at that point of time, I really feel like slapping myself. I have no one but myself to blame for that. Really feel stupid about that. Sigh. I guess I really need A LONG time to get over that... If I ever get over that...
